I am a fan of all the incarnations of Smashing Pumpkins. From the quiet lament of "Blank" to the roaring guitars of "Heavy Metal Machine," Billy and company have hooked me.

What do you all think?

I do not necessarily love them, but there are quite a few songs that I actually like. I think one of them is titled "Tonight". It's a really great song.

"Tonight, Tonight" is a very good song, indeed. If you liked that song I think you would have a great potential to love a lot of what they do. A lot of people can't get past Billy Corgan's voice, and I can understand that, but sometimes when it's just him with an acoustic guitar, some real magic can happen.

Have you ever heard the Smashing Pumpkins version of "Landslide" by Stevie Nicks?

I am not a real big fan of them myself but my husband is so I do listen to them quite a bit.

Oh, I have heard their version of "Landslide" and I thought it was decent. I actually love the guys voice, and the have great lyrics. There's another song I like called "1979".

Well, he is and he's not. What has been your particular experience to make you say so?

I haven't heard much about his personal life, so I am curious as to why you say this? I don't know much about him, I'm just curious.
