They are not a screamo band, but like so many other bands they get wrongly lumped into that genre - which would understandably piss any band off. If I wanted to get really picky they're not Post-hardcore either but I don't wanna get into that.

I'm not sure what George's quote means, but if I had to guess I would think it means their next album will build on the rock based direction of Crisis.

BTW (for educations sake) - real screamo = Circle Takes the Square, Saetia, City of Caterpillar etc.

Gosh, I just saw the musicvideo for waterwings again and I just wonder how in the world did George add so much weight? (totally off topic)
they all looked like they've put on weight.
& in the video for counterparts, steele looks SO different

i would probably say earlier than that. there was an interview where george set if they can get some songs going pretty quickly it could be out a LOT sooner than that - and seeing as how the've already gotten 7 done. id say mid summer

From Wikipedia:

In a recent interview, vocalist George Pettit states that he is unaware of the direction that the band will head in for their next album, but that "The next record, I think, is us pretty much wanting to put the knife in screamo. I don't want to be the band that saves it, I want to be the band that kills it."

I don't know....

I'm guessing at least fall 2008, but thats just me.
