Default Every Time I Die

Although I don't think a ton of you are into harder music, I just figured I'd ask anyways.

Every Time I Die is a phenomenal band & one of my all time favorites.
Good 'ol Southern Metal with amazing riffs, & odd lyrics.

I'll also mention that Dallas was featured in a track on their latest album "The Big Dirty" called INRIhab.

Anybody a fan?

I'm not a HUGEHUGEHUGE fan. But they're good.
+ I love the fact that Keith used to be an English teacher though. idk why

Just not a fan of his solo stuff tbh.

Awh. Really? I love his solo stuff. I love how his voice can be so versatile.

Yeah. Keith used to teach at a school about 15 minutes away from where I live. He's an amazing writer though, with everything he does.

IMO calling them Southern Metal is an insult to real Southern metal like Pantera, Down, etc. but they are okay. I like "The New Black" a lot; plus Keith having an english degree is obviously beneficial to lyrical quality.

So, just because they came decades after the greats, they can't be classified under the genre of "southern metal"?

I'm going to have to agree... if you're not from anywhere in the US other than the South then it isn't southern metal. I remember seeing a band from Canada that I really liked called Danger Boys that had themselves classified as 'Southern Metal' and I shared a nice laugh with myself. However, I'm a huge fan of these guys and I think I differentiate from the rest of you seeing as how I like more metal then I do City and Colour type stuff. And I don't think I could have Keith as a teacher because it would be really awkward.

I'm pretty stoked.
I'm seeing Finale play at the Buffalo Warped.
The only date he's playing for warped, and his first live show as Finale.
Should be interesting..
