Hm, I can't think of anyone.
Thats probably one of the reasons they're so big. They don't sound like anybody else.
They have a unique sound.

In the music library at the radio station I do my show there was a band and on the sticker description it said they sounded a lot like AOF..i forget waht they were called though. I think they were from Nova Scotia.

Despite what people think there are a few bands that sound pretty similar to AOF. I just can't remember any of them.

Dance Gavin Dance seems to be going for that mixture of harsh screaming and soft vocals, I don't know if you'll like 'em but check them out. Otherwise, it's kind hard to compare anything with Alexisonfire.
