Default im not a happy bunny

Taken from an article in The London Free Press:

Fans have a chance to hear Alexisonfire on the boundary of a "new, weird" stuff. Guitarist and singer Dallas Green has already sketched out ideas for the disc, which he hopes to record with bandmates Wade MacNeil, George Pettit, Chris Steele and Jordan Hastings this fall. "Alexisonfire is really heavy and that's what we love about it," Green tells Canoe.ca. "But I've got a bunch of new ideas that I think will fit with us that are a lot different. I kind of want to try and make these slower songs I've written seem really heavy atmospherically. "On our last album, I never would have thought to try that because the record was so aggressive, but I'm going to try and take us into some new, weird territories."

hm....

A new "weird" sound is bound to loose some fans..
I just hope they're not making a mistake that they'll regret.

IMO they were moving in a more commercialized direction with Crisis. If they keep going in that direction they're still ruining a good thing.
