Default Simple Songs Demo

So, who knows what the exact track listing for this was? I have:

Off By Heart
So Low
Urgency
This Sudden Injury
When She
In the Water I'm Beautiful / 3 Months
The Sleeping Sickness
Like Knives
Sam Malone

What order do they go in? And am I missing any?

Any help much appreciated.

I want one of those so bad. I would buy it off ebay but no one is selling it. Plus it'll cost a lot no doubt.

Haha, no, it's not as though I have an original copy of the demo in my hot little hands (Although make no mistake, I'd happily kill for one!), I just mean that through perseverance and by virtue of my being an utter completist I have acquired those tracks from various means. And, since I'm also really anal about that sort of thing I want to get them in the right order

I feel kind of out of the loop here. What is/are "Simple Songs"?

It was a demo released by Dal before The Death of Me EP, before Sometimes, before all that he released Simple Songs, his first foray into solo material - it even predates the name City and Colour, when he still just went by Dallas Green. The songs are relatively easy to find these days on assorted torrents and P2P networks although there's sweet fuck all information about the release on the net.

This review of Sometimes briefly mentions the 'olden days' when Dallas only had Simple Songs available for download:
Rain City Ambience

Hope this helps

You're most welcome!

I noticed that some of these songs have been uploaded to YouTube so for anyone who hasn't heard them here are a couple of the tracks off Simple Songs:

YouTube - Dallas Green - Urgency

YouTube - City And Colour - In The Water, I Am Beautiful (Alt Version) AKA 3 Months

YouTube - Dallas Green - Sam Malone (Fast Version)

is this the live demo we're talking about? i remember talking to some dude at the alexisonfire merch table shortly after the demos hit the net. not many hard copies were circulated at all as it wasn't really intended as a 'release' per se.

i wouldnt be surprised if all hard copies stayed within dallas circle of friends or people associated with dine alone.
