wow really folk sounding. i fucking LOVE It. a lot more upbeat frm everything else he's done. the vocals on some of the tracks aren't done very well, he doesnt use as much range as usual and keeps it simple- which in my opinion with a voice liek his should be usen to its advantage, also the echoey sound doesnt really do much for me - overall though its nuts

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. I'd love to hear him use more range on some of the tracks (Confessions springs to mind) when you have a voice like that you'd better fucking show it off! Hopefully he kicks in up a notch or two in the following verses. The echo-y-ness bothers me as well, (What Makes a Man for example, sounds like he's at the other end of a hallway!) I liked the clean-ness there was to his vocals on Sometimes, it showcases his flawless voice much better IMO. BUT, minor criticisms aside, I could not be any more excited about this album and I love what I've heard. Body in a Box and Constant Knot sound wonderful And Sleeping Sickness sounds sooo fantastic. I teared up a wee bit listening to those few seconds of The Girl <3

exactly what i thought. the live version thus far is better.
anyone notice how differently waiting was produced from the rest, seems to be made to sound like a single.

It hasn't leaked yet, I'm patiently waiting for it to. As for the album, so far it sounds amazing. I'm so glad Dallas is branching out, "the girl" sounds like it is going to be great. If you want to hear a really good live version of "Constant Knot" just go on Youtube and type in Dallas green and Dun Under, and you'll find it. It's a duet, and it sounds incredible.

Dallas is moving with his new album, change is good... if he sounded the same everyone would complain. Embrace change.
