Aside from it being short it looks like a damn good setlist.

Mostly it was that it was so short! I guess I would have liked something a bit more out of left field, it's all very predictable you know? Maybe a cover, or something different off of BMYL... It's more that Dallas seemed to be having a really shitty time with it, looked as though he'd rather be anywhere but on stage. Not that I blame him, hundreds and hundreds of people showed up to his stage (it was at a festival) and then talked loudly and INCESSANTLY throughout his set meaning you could hardly hear him. And you could tell he was getting pissed off, he even stopped during Waiting and told people in the audience to stop fighting, "Are you fighting?! Are you seriously fighting at... I mean, I'm sitting here with an acoustic guitar! And you're fighting. You! You in the shirt - GO AWAY. GO! For real, go away, you're not helping at all. This is not what it's about at all. Go jump in the lake over there. Who gets in a fight at an acoustic show? There's metal bands playing, go and fight during them!" (transcribed from the video which I might upload later if I get a chance) Which brings me to the other thing, the noise carry-over from the metal stage and main stage was pretty atrocious. He commented on that too, that he'd have to come back and do a show where he wasn't competing with Killswitch Engage playing on a stage a couple hundred metres away

hahahahahahahahahahaha, he's ace

although that's a downfall at an acoustic gig.
you do get alot of idiots who talk throughout and it's really annoying.

+ setlist does look pretty disappointing.

BUT, i know a fair amount of people missed out on his set on sunday because he changed his set times, so he played at 3pm instead of 4.

how gutted would you be?

Yeah, I missed Forgive Me because I was still queuing to get in the fucking gate (Over 2 hours of waiting in over 35degree+ heat with no shade = death).

I'm SO lucky that I checked the festival website that morning because Dallas requested a couple of hours before the show started that his set be shifted from 4pm to 3pm so he could have more time to rest up between his an Alexis' set. There was no notification of this anywhere at the show and I know a lot of people missed his set because of it. As I was leaving the stage Dallas had just played at a guy came frolicking up the hill going "Yay, City and Colour next up!" I hated to be the one to tell him that C&C had finished 10 minutes ago, the poor bugger cried! I felt terrible for him.

All in all a pretty shitty experience considering I'd paid $300 to fly over there + another $200 for the festival ticket + $100 accommodation... fuck you to all the cunts that ruined this for everyone else and fuck you to the event management for hosting the WORST ORGANIZED FESTIVAL EVER.
