Default City and colour- Portland 5/20/08

Saw City and Colour last night. First time I have ever seen him play outside of Canada. He played at a small theatre in Portland, Oregon. I mean the venue was so small that we were at the bar drinking with sleepercar the opening band. Show was small, wasn't even sold out which blew my mind. Maybe 300 people at the show and a lot of chatter going on. Amazing show as always, but it's just amazing that he doesn't sell out shows down here. He's a lot shorter than I thought he was. Anyways it was a pretty standard setlist that he plays so I wont go into details but next to Ryan Adams, Dallas if definitely my favorite guy to see live.

I'm really surprised that some of the dates aren't sold out tbh
He's not that short...is he?

On the UK tour, there weren't that many people talking through his shows. They just sat and listened. But the few that did talk, Dal just ripped into them. Which was hilarious!

Haha good. No talking when the Dal is singing.

He needs to tour more in the states.
I don't understand why he has dates in Washington, Texas...and that's really it.

I made a mistake.
I think he's planning to tour in the States, rather than Canada in september.
Sorry.

Yeah. I just hope he doesn't stick to touring the south, ya know?
