Hey guys, this is Tom from alexisonfire.ca.

I love the sound of a partnership, you guys have a great community here and Alexisonfire really do need a good forum.

alexisonfire.ca was something I volunteered to lift off the ground a few months back, as the domain was basically just sitting there doing nothing. The domain and hosting itself is owned by another guy, Marcus, who I can get in contact with if we need to.

I'd love to maintain and improve the site, but fitting it around work on my own is a huge task - especially with all the unrelentless shitty spam on the forum. I'm not sure why there is so much spam, its an Invision board so it isn't bad, and you do have to register and input the validation code etc. Marcus set up the forum so changing this is pretty much out of my control. I had contacted him several times about it being a problem although I assume he has no time and cant be bothered anyway. Buying a copy of vBulletin would be a great idea I suppose.

Since Marcus is probably too busy, there is the possibility of moving the hosting or giving me full access so I can have full control.

Ok guys, I've updated the forum script to the latest version, and removed all the spam posts and spam users.

Hopefully the spam issue shouldn't be a problem anymore.
