I have never heard of Iron & Wine? I will have to see what I can find out about them. That is a wide range of music.

Dvorak is awesome.

I like most of the aforementioned music. But I'd like to add another to my list: Bjork! She's so flipping adorable and some of her songs are just powerful.

They're really good stuff. It's an acoustic male/female duo. Their music is beautiful, recommended to anyone.

It's very true. When I was studying music in college, we spent an entire semester analyzing Symphony No. 9, the "New World Symphony." There is some really fantastic stuff happening there. I also enjoy the film composer John Williams (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman, Jaws, E.T., etc.). It seems that Williams studied Dvorak, because there's a lot of similarity. Good stuff.

Really the only Bjork I got into was Debut. A friend of mine gave me that disc in high school and I just loved it. I never really heard much after that, but I heard her latest album was pretty good.

I love a lot of classic rock. I also just picked up The Eagles new album. I was so excited about that coming out because I grew up around this band. My mom was a huge fan. I also like the Beatles, ACDC, Guns and Roses, The Cure, and bands like that.

I really like Bjork's Vespertine album. The cure used to be good. IMO they're shit nowadays. One of those bands that ended up spending too much time on drugs in hotel bars.

Sometimes when a band from yesteryear re-emerges to relive the glory days, it just comes off as sad. Not always, just sometimes. I really like Robert Smith and the Cure, but you're right. The most recent material and appearances have been a little ... I don't know. Sad?

Thats the word I think I was fortunate enough to be pretty close to them for a few years but unfortunately they just seem to be in the business for slightly random reasons nowadays.
