Do you guys have a site or a manual for basket making? Do you weave them?

No, we do not weave the baskets ourselves. We don't havea site or manual either, my boss will just hand us a sample to work with, and then we make them based on what we see in the sample.

Basket-making sounds intriguing. In Boy Scouts, I earned the basketry merit badge. Of course, there were only two requirements, but I liked it.

I think that would just be such a fun job. I don't think we have any basket making jobs like that around here. Sounds awesome though. Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

Yeah, it really is a lot of fun for being a part-time job. I thought nobody was supposed to enjoy working!

What's funny is that we get a lot of celebrities and "important" people ordering baskets.

My boss won't tell us! It kind of makes me a little mad, but she will tell us to be "extra careful" with certain baskets because they are being made for somebody from certain movies. She told me that one time she had to send a basket from somebody in the film industry to Jennifer Aniston.

Hee! That's pretty funny. Maybe it is just a tactic to keep your work good and full of quality?
