Default Saw

Has anybody been watching the Saw movies? I got to see the fourth movie last weekend, and it was really good! I love the plot, even though the first thirty minutes were so gory. Was anybody else a little bit confused?

I haven't watched them. I like scary, but not a fan of gory. The kids have been trying to talk me into it though. Maybe I will, just to see what all the fuss is about.

You know I love horrer movies and really have no idea why I haven't watched these yet? I will have to rent them some weekend. I have heard really great things about them. Are the sequels as good as the first one? I ask because alot of the time sequels are not as good.

The sequels only get better and better, I think. They add onto the story, and make all the ones before it make more sense. They really cannot stand on their own, they all rely on eachother to tell the story.

I've never been a fan of the gore genre. I like scary movies that deal with ghosts and with psychological thrills. I can't say "Saw" is one I want to see.

Yes, the Saw films are definitely not for the faint of heart. The first five minutes included a very gory and detailed autopsy scene, so if you don't think you can handle that, you definitely will not like the rest of the movie. They aren't for everybody. I found myself covering my eyes with the back of my boyfriend's hand from time to time.

I have to look away sometimes when I watch Law & Order or House. So it would probably not be for me.

I haven't seen House, but I can see needing to turn away from Law & Order, especially Special Victims Unit. It can be pretty graphic at times, and can also be emotionally painful for some.
