Default Best lyrics?

What song has the best lyrics do you think? What song has a special meaning to you and why?

Trying to remember the song, may be "Sometimes", but the line is "If I suddenly went blind, would you still look in my eyes?" Thats got to be my favourite C&C line and the song as a whole has the best lyrics I've heard in a good while.

I agree, "Sometimes" is one of my favorites and really touches me inside I guess haha. Another I would say is Sam Malone

Yeah "In the water..." is definately an awesome song. Did you know it's title came from the preface of a book called "Welcome To The Monkey House" by Kurt Vonnegut? Now I'm just showing off because I bought the book

Is that the reason you bought the book, or did you stumble upon this knowledge :P

That's pretty much the reason I bought the book, and it makes me look smart to have intelligent looking books on my shelf; hence me having Nietzsche and books on quantum physics

but eventually, he found out it would be a great Alexis song...
so I guess George added his genuis to it

Like all of us, I think it's something special about
every song Dallas writes...
But one who stands out to me, is Sensible Heart....
The lyrics are so amazing..
Every time I'm feeling down or simply just losing
faith in myself...I can just play this song, and remember
to trust what's deep inside...
